Latest Project
Faceland Digital Rebrand - Creating a Unified Design Language Across All Channels
I developed a new design language to unify the brand’s digital touchpoints. The goal was to align the online experience with the high-quality clinical care customers receive in person, ensuring visual consistency and brand authority across all digital channels.

A mobile first homepage that guides every visitor toward real value
A complete overhaul of the primary entry point to solve navigation friction. By implementing mobile-first design principles, I improved the visual flow and ensured that key services are easily discoverable for the majority of the user base.

A Refined Deals Experience That Balances Clarity and User Insight
I replaced cluttered marketing banners with a stable, Gestalt-driven card system to fix the visual inconsistency. By cutting the "marketing noise" and prioritizing price contrast, I turned a messy discount page into a high-trust, mobile-first experience that actually drives conversion.
About Me
I’m a UX and UI designer with a background in applied cognitive psychology, which shapes how I approach design. I focus on creating intuitive digital experiences that balance user needs with business goals, turning complexity into clarity. This understanding of how people perceive, process, and remember information guides every design decision I make, from layout and hierarchy to interactions and visual cues.
By grounding my work in human behaviour, I can create interfaces that feel natural and effortless. The principles I apply in my work are rooted in the same cognitive laws that underpin great user experiences.

How Can We Leverage Laws From Cognitive Psychology?
How Can We Leverage Laws From Cognitive Psychology?
Laws from cognitive psychology help us design experiences that align with how people naturally think, perceive, and make decisions. By reducing cognitive load, guiding attention through visual hierarchy, and respecting human limitations like memory and reaction time, interfaces become easier to understand and use. Principles such as Gestalt grouping, Hick’s Law, and Fitts’s Law allow designers to simplify choices, improve clarity, and make interactions feel predictable. When applied intentionally, these laws turn abstract theory into practical design decisions that support confidence, reduce friction, and help users move through experiences with minimal effort and hesitation.

Cognitive Overload
The tendency for people to get overwhelmed when they are presented with a large number of options, often used interchangeably with the term paradox of choice.
When the amount of information coming in exceeds the space we have available, we struggle mentally to keep up — tasks become more difficult, details are missed, and we begin to feel overwhelmed.
Peak-End Rule
People judge an experience largely based on how they felt at its peak and at its end, rather than the total sum or average of every moment of the experience.
"Pay close attention to the most intense points and the final moments (the “end”) of the user journey."
Von Restorff Effect
The Von Restorff effect, also known as The Isolation Effect, predicts that when multiple similar objects are present, the one that differs from the rest is most likely to be remembered.
"Make important information or key actions visually distinctive."

My MSc. focused on learning how to leverage knowledge in the field to find creative solutions to everyday problems. The focus was on cognitive enhancement overall, therefore I learned about the latest cutting edge models used in the field of human factors. However, what caught my attention was the intersection between psychology and digital design: user experience.

For my master’s thesis, I conducted a pioneering study on human trust in ChatGPT, launching just four months after its release. I discovered a pro-human bias among students, who tended to undertrust AI while overtrusting human-labeled answers. This research was subsequently published in the peer-reviewed CHI journal and has since been cited by 14 other papers, marking it as a foundational contribution to the field of AI-human interaction.

Music Production
When I step away from the screen, my favorite way to find my flow is by producing music. For five years, I’ve cultivated skills in Ableton Live 12 Suite, exploring the technical and rhythmic challenges of production. While my core focus is often on high-energy trap, I also enjoy the warm, intricate soundscapes of Lo-fi and R&B. This practice is my creative sanctuary—a space where problem-solving meets artistry. The ability to structure complex sonic ideas and troubleshoot technical hurdles directly enhances my approach to user experience design, bringing a unique, rhythmic sensibility to my work.

In an era of generic AI templates, this portfolio remains 100% human-designed. Every layout, interaction, and strategic decision was custom-built from the ground up. No prompts, just craft, because authentic UX requires a human touch.
